Software Engineer Cloud

Requirements

  • Strong algorithms, data structures and coding background
  • Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
  • Experience with Linux, web infrastructure, and distributed systems
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science

Desired Skills and Experience

  • The Cloud Management Platform is an advanced micro services based architecture, written in Go, orchestrated with Kubernetes.
  • Web application development, Postgres/MySQL, AWS, RESTful APIs

Threat Defense Analyst/Engineer

Bracket's Threat Defense Analyst/Engineer will design & build next-generation threat defense functionality, with objectives of identifying new threat defense opportunities, building solutions to detect hacking attempts, and prevent or mitigate data breaches using Bracket's Metavisor technology. The analyst/engineer is expected to significantly influence product direction by identifying specific threats and exploits to defend against. The job will include kernel- and hypervisor-level implementation to prototype and develop solutions which will be tested via live malware and penetration testers. Depending on experience level, the analyst/engineer may also participate in red/blue team exercises in conjunction with external penetration testing groups. Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant computer security industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant malware and exploit research
  • Minimum of 1 year of Linux systems programming experience

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of recent data breaches, including hacking groups involved and tools used to maintain persistence
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux exploits
  • Understanding of different threat prevention solutions and trade-offs
  • C/C++ programming proficiency

Very nice to have

  • Red team / penetration testing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows exploits

Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for engineers with a focus in quality assurance. Our expectation is that you will work with developers to design features toward addressing customer use cases, and provide guidance to build testability into the product. You will plan the testing of functionality, and use our automation framework to create automated tests. You will work with Support and customers to help resolve issues.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of QA experience
  • Systems level testing experience with Enterprise scale applications
  • Coding/scripting experience required (python or golang experience)
  • Proficiency with Linux and/or FreeBSD operating system
  • Windows experience a plus

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Exposure to Virtualization/cloud technologies
  • Cloud Service Provider (CSP) experience (e.g. AWS, GCP Azure)
  • Experience rolling out software regularly into live environments
