Bracket provides an elegant solution to solving the complicated problem of providing a single set of security controls to stop the spread of malware, malicious insiders and mistakes.   We have  built an immutable security layer using its virtualization platform (the Bracket Metavisor) which is invisible to both dev/ops and attackers. The Bracket Metavisor sits quietly between our customer's operating system and the public/private cloud hypervisor, looks for indicators of compromise, and is able to take immediate preventative action. Since the Metavisor acts as a lightweight hypervisor, it is able to intercept all guest network, storage, and virtual memory accesses, making it possibly to defend against a broad range of threats. New guest OS memory introspection, forensics, and runtime integrity capabilities were recently announced at RSA 2017.   Bracket's Threat Defense Analyst/Engineer will design & build next-generation threat defense functionality, with objectives of identifying new threat defense opportunities, building solutions to detect hacking attempts, and prevent or mitigate data breaches using Bracket's Metavisor technology. The analyst/engineer is expected to significantly influence product direction by identifying specific threats and exploits to defend against. The job will include kernel- and hypervisor-level implementation to prototype and develop solutions which will be tested via live malware and penetration testers. Job Description: Resident Engineers (REs) are Solutions Architects dedicated to a single customer for a longer-term project. REs work primarily at the customer location and are responsible for a variety of technical tasks enabling customers to successfully migrate applications and computing needs to the Bracket Computing Cell. Candidate must be able to lead conversations with customers to derive an understanding of project requirements as well as communicate best practices. They are committed to the success of the customer project, and take ownership for their deliverables, designing solutions for customers that are secure, reliable, and scalable. Specific activities include: ·      On-boarding customers to the Bracket Computing solutions, implementing requirements to set up key management, creating encrypted custom AMIs, Images, or VMDKs, and configuring policy, segmentation, and network routing. ·      Design of solutions for customer projects, and implementation of the design. Deploying workloads and helping the customer deploy, test, and integrate the software and solutions documented in the design. ·      Consulting with customer on the use of Bracket APIs and integrating them into the customer orchestration and monitoring systems. ·      Consulting with customer on migrating applications to the Bracket Computing Cell. ·      Coach customer on the Bracket technology, ensuring the customer can become self-sufficient. ·      Being the subject matter expert for the Bracket solution to the customer engineering teams. Assist customer with troubleshooting issues and working with Bracket customer support and engineering to find resolutions. ·      Being a Bracket advocate and leader in the customer environment. Driving solutions, illustrating the value that Bracket would bring to solving customer needs. ·      Provide feedback to the Bracket product management team for requests from customers about desired functionality. Because Bracket is in startup stage, a variety of tasks will fall to the Solutions Architect beyond the primary role, when not engaged at the customer location.  A willingness to help in a variety of areas of the Bracket business and Customer Success team is a requirement.
